best school day

hey!!! so, lets just say, my day today went well. okay. if you are learning about the holocaust, then this is  for you. Today, at my school, we had a real holocaust survivor come to our school to talk to us about her experience. she was really old, like 80 years old and she was super quiet, even when she used a microphone. She was a cute old lady. I think at the beginning, things were okay. At the middle, people were starting to zone out. By the time she was done speaking, people asked a few questions. She came down in front of the audience so we could hear her better. I mean, she was a funny old lady, she tried to take the microphone out of the microphone stand and almost dropped it and she was like "oh my god"!!!!! We all laughed. it was great. and by the time it was over guess what? We got to go to lunch. A good day!!!! And when i went home, i got a nap. A hour long nap. no better school day then today. The assembly was kinda boring, but you got to give the poor old lady credit. she was the only one in her family that survived the holocaust. It brings tears to my eyes.
